Dogma Dog Bakery opened for business in 16 years ago.  From the very beginning, we were committed to providing only healthy foods and treats, and worked hard to ensure our customers knew they could count on us to provide them with the best options for their pet.   While our name shows how much we love dogs, we are also an advocate for your feline friend, and show our love for them with our dedicated cat section and our frequent “kitty condo” visitors from area rescues.
We were one of the very first stores to carry locally made raw foods, marrow bones, supplements and worked with some of the best veterinary nutritionists to help us with our product choices. Today we carry a large selection of healthy foods and treats with an emphasis on products sourced from the USA, Canada and New Zealand, along with toys and gift items for your cat and dog-loving friends and family.  Some of our best selling products from the USA are Dogma’s own treats.
Dogma’s baked treats are baked in our store, using only human-grade ingredients, with no added salt, sugar or preservatives.  We use natural peanut butter without sugar, real fruit, real eggs, vegetable dyes and no maltodextrin-laden “dog friendly” yogurt coatings.  Our treats don’t sit on a shelf for weeks at at a time; and they don’t sit in a bin getting touched by every human that walks by and tosses an unwanted treat back.    Your dog will be getting fresh, healthier treats!   And, we bake cakes too!
Almost every day our oven is on and our bakers are baking to give you fun new treats for each of the seasons.  Try our “Lucky Dog” cookies for St. Patrick’s Day,  our “Cranberry Bliss Bark” and “Snowballs” during the holidays, or our “apple tarts”; especially a favorite during the Fall.  Need something for a special occassion; you just call and we might be able to make a little magic happen.

We are committed to providing the local community with a unique selection of products and outstanding customer service that you may not find in a “big box” store.    We strive to be a community resource and advocate for responsible breeding and for animal adoption.   We support many local rescues and our local shelter by holding animal adoptions and fundraisers on a regular basis.

Come see us at either store with your dog; and stay and chat awhile – we’re your neighborhood store and appreciate your business!
